Job summary

Avina is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Brisbane South / South East team on a flexible mix of home, school, clinic and telehealth duties. The role supports a diverse paediatric caseload within a multidisciplinary framework, with options to work in Coorparoo Graceville clinics and telehealth.

You’ll collaborate with a broad team of clinicians, undertake assessments, and develop therapy plans for children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays and other needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy required.
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Interest in paediatric participants.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver paediatric OT across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy.
• Support functional, sensory, motor and emotional regulation goals.

About the Role

We're looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Brisbane South / South East team. You'll work across a flexible mix of home, school, community, telehealth and clinic settings, with optional access to our Coorparoo and Graceville clinics.

Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Coorparoo, Mount Gravatt, Sunnybank, Eight Mile Plains, Rochedale, Springwood, Logan, Loganlea and surrounding suburbs. And while our broader team covers a large area, you won't be expected to travel across all of it. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you more flexibility over your working week.

Your Caseload & Team You'll support children and young people across a varied NDIS caseload, including autism, ADHD, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sensory and emotional regulation and physical disability. You'll join a multidisciplinary team of 11 clinicians, including experienced OTs with strong paediatric knowledge and specialist experience across areas such as sensory and emotional regulation, Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology and home modifications.

Whether you're early in your career or bringing established paediatric experience, you'll have access to shadowing, peer support, clinical supervision, Communities of Practice and multidisciplinary learning.
