Job summary

Lilac Health in Melbourne’s Essendon area seeks a paediatric clinical hypnotherapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team. You will deliver assessment and therapy for children and adolescents and build a private practice with strong referral pathways within a collaborative medical framework.

The role requires independent practice, paediatric experience and a commitment to ethical, family-centred care within the NDIS environment. Onsite support and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Current AHPRA registration or registration with the relevant board.
• Medicare provider number can be obtained after hiring.
• Current police check and working with children check.
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance to be obtained on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Support children with gastrointestinal disorders and the brain-gut connection.
• Create a warm, non-judgemental space for exploring experiences and developing practical strategies.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, GPs and allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Work with families and a multidisciplinary team to empower children and young people to thrive.

We're growing our multidisciplinary allied health team and seeking a dedicated clinician to deliver assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents.

In this role, you will:

• Support children with gastrointestinal disorders and the brain-gut connection.
• Create a warm, non-judgemental safe space where patients feel supported to explore their experiences and develop practical strategies for meaningful, lasting change
• Value multidisciplinary care and work closely with gastroenterologists, GPs, and allied health professionals to support coordinated, effective treatment.
• Collaborate with families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to empower children and young people to thrive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to start their own private practice with the support of a medical team and assured patient and client flow under a shared care model.
