Job summary

SUNRIPE EMPLOYMENT PTY LTD is seeking a Packing Shed Supervisor to oversee daily packaging line operations and ensure food safety and quality standards are met. You will liaise with Quality Control, supervise staff, and manage packing line workflows while maintaining safe and efficient practices.

Role requires AQF Diploma or equivalent or substantial experience, plus a minimum of three years in similar roles. Competitive salary and supportive team culture offered.

• Three years employment experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise packing shed staff to ensure efficient production and quality.
• Operate and supervise packaging lines daily under supervision.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to meet product standards.
• Direct and monitor staff for safe work practices.
• Coordinate fruit inputs and product flow with forklift operators.
• Assist in management and operation of all packing lines as required.
• Ensure correct application of labels, cartons, pallets and packaging components.
• Monitor packing equipment and report repairs promptly.
• Prepare machinery, pallets and bins for daily production.
• Ensure adequate packaging consumables are available.
• Induct and train new and existing staff as directed.
