Job summary

Sandhu & Chouhan Produce in Bucca, NSW invites an experienced Facility Supervisor to lead our packing sheds, cold rooms and storage operations for berries and cucumbers.

You will coordinate daily intake, labour and schedules, supervise staff, ensure quality, food safety and audit readiness, and keep accurate production records. The role requires AQF certificates and practical farming experience, with a focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• AQF Cert III or Cert IV in a relevant field.
• 2 years of farm/ similar role experience, or 3 years with formal training.
• 5 years experience without formal training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packing sheds, grading areas, cold rooms and storage facilities.
• Plan daily produce intake, labour requirements and packing schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise workers and seasonal staff.
• Ensure quality, size, presentation and market standards.
• Monitor post-harvest handling, temperature control and storage.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, waste management and QA.
• Inspect packing areas and arrange maintenance.
• Maintain records of production, volumes and labour.
• Prepare facilities for audits and buyer requirements.
