Job summary

Labelmakers Group in Somerton, VIC is seeking 2 reliable and motivated Packers to join our production team on permanent day and afternoon shifts. You will receive and pack printed labels and finished goods, helping to palletise and prepare deliveries under the supervision of the Production Manager.

You will work with a team on a busy production floor, communicate across groups, and contribute to stock control, safety and quality standards, with opportunities to learn and grow within a

Responsibilities

• Receive and pack printed labels and finished goods for palletising and wrapping.
• Process pick lists accurately for deliveries and stock entries.
• Assist with stock takes and inventory control activities.
• Maintain Good Housekeeping and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Operate allocated equipment per plant safety procedures.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking 2 reliable and motivated Packer's to join our team in Somerton Vic on permanent day and afternoon shift .

This role reports to the Production Manager will be an integral part of the Production Team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• To receive and pack Printed Labels and / or Finished Goods to palletise, box wrap, shrink wrap, and / or stock
• Under direction, process Pick Lists accurately for deliveries, stock entries, account purposes and control.
• Assist is stock takes and for inventory control activities.
• Maintain Good Housekeeping of Work area and ensure Safe Work practices and manual handling are adhered to at all times
• Operate allocated Mechanical Aided Equipment as per the safety operating procedure of the plant

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Ideally, have prior experience in working on a production floor, experience in the print, packaging, or label manufacturing industry will be advantageous
• Be a team player that can communicate effectively across multiple work groups and willing to help out others.
• Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated.
• To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard - quality focus.
