Job summary

Workfast is seeking an experienced Production Operator to join a well-established packaging equipment manufacturer in Australia. The role involves operating production machinery, assisting with assembly, monitoring processes, and maintaining quality as part of a safety-focused team.

You will work a 38-hour week on a 4-day roster with rotating day and afternoon shifts. The initial contract is 3-4 months with potential ongoing opportunities for the right person.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating machinery or production equipment.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Valid Forklift ticket (LF)

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with assembly and manufacture of industrial packaging products.
• Monitor production processes and maintain quality standards.
• Perform general factory and production duties.
• Handle materials and assist with product movement.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to meet daily targets.
