Job summary

Visy Board Gepps Cross is seeking machine operators to join our production team. You will operate cardboard packaging converting machines, feed product, and help with setup and job change tasks to keep lines running smoothly.

This full-time role offers a rotating day/afternoon shift with overtime and a supportive safety culture. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and willing to learn; forklift licence is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods (12 hours).
• Forklift licence is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
• Feed product into the converting machines and arrange product at the machine discharge points.
• Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job change tasks for a production run.
• Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
• Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping always.
