National Organisation in Melbourne is seeking an HR Business Partner focused on employee relations to support a broad portfolio across corporate, education and logistics sites. The role will deliver pragmatic, timely ER guidance to operational managers within a hybrid Melbourne framework.

You will manage high-volume ER matters, interpret awards and enterprise agreements, and coach managers to handle people issues consistently. Experience with large shift-based workforces will be highly regarded.

• Solid generalist HRBP experience with ER at the centre of your work.
• Exposure to industrial relations in an award-based or unionised environment.
• Comfortable carrying a heavy caseload and keeping it moving without sacrificing quality.
• Credibility with operational managers and the ability to give straight, pragmatic guidance.
• Experience with a large operational or shift-based workforce is advantageous.

A large national services business is appointing an HR Business Partner to support its Victorian operations. The role is weighted toward employee and industrial relations, across a significant operational workforce. The business delivers services across corporate, university and logistics sites. That means a steady flow of ER matters, award and enterprise agreement questions, and operational managers who need clear, practical advice quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partnering with operational and site managers across a portfolio of corporate, education and logistics clients
• Managing a high volume of ER matters, from performance and conduct through to investigations and terminations
• Advising on award and enterprise agreement interpretation, and supporting IR matters as they arise
• Coaching managers to handle people issues well and consistently
• Working closely with the wider People and Culture team on policy, compliance and workforce issues

Background Required
