Job summary

Aurex Group is seeking a high-performing Asset Manager to join its Sydney team and take direct responsibility for a portfolio of commercial assets.

You will report to the Head of Asset Management and lead asset strategies, leasing outcomes, capex planning and value-creation initiatives across the portfolio.

This fast-paced, owner-focused role offers wide exposure across the investment lifecycle and collaboration with investment, finance and funds management teams.

Qualifications

• Owner-side asset management experience, preferably commercial office.
• Strong financial capability across budgets, forecasts, valuations and asset analysis.
• Experience with leasing, capex, business planning and value creation.
• Experience managing external property managers, agents and consultants.
• Ability to understand both investment thesis and asset operations.
• Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, hands-on approach in a fast-moving growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing asset strategies and business plans.
• Driving leasing, tenant engagement and occupancy outcomes.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, valuations and asset performance.
• Identifying value-creation and repositioning initiatives.
• Planning and overseeing capex programs.
• Overseeing external property managers, leasing agents and consultants.
• Monitoring performance and preparing asset-level reporting.
• Working closely with investment, finance and funds management teams.
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals and other strategic initiatives where required.
