Job summary

Boss Global Logistics in Queensland is seeking an experienced Owner Driver / Courier Contractor to service a weekday delivery run from our Caboolture depot, covering Caboolture, Beerwah, Glass House Mountains, Landsborough and surrounding areas.

Operate your own 2 tonne van with cargo barrier as an independent contractor. The run is typically about 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with stable daily freight and a supportive network of the company's employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Has previous courier, transport or multi-drop delivery experience.
• Knowledge of Caboolture, Beerwah, Glass House Mountains, Landsborough and surrounding areas is desired.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and scanning freight prior to departure.

• Completing deliveries safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Following site, customer and safety requirements while performing services.

Boss Global Logistics is a growing transport and logistics provider servicing customers across Queensland and beyond.

We are currently seeking an experienced Owner Driver / Courier Contractor to service an established weekday delivery run from our Caboolture depot, covering areas including Caboolture, Beerwah, Glass House Mountains, Landsborough, Mount Mellum and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established courier business looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work on a regular run.

The Opportunity

You will provide courier and delivery services as an independent contractor, operating your own 2 tonne courier van with a cargo barrier.

The run is generally consistent from day to day, allowing you to become familiar with the delivery area, customers and route. Services typically require approximately 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, depending on daily freight volumes and operational requirements.

You will work alongside our existing network of employees and contractors while independently operating your own business.

Services Include

• Sorting and scanning freight prior to departure
• Loading and unloading parcels from pallets and cages
• Completing a high-volume, multi-stop delivery run
• Delivering parcels generally ranging from 500g to 25kg+
• Providing professional and courteous customer service
• Completing deliveries safely, accurately and efficiently
• Following site, customer and safety requirements while performing services

Vehicle Requirements

You must provide and maintain your own:

• 2 tonne courier van suitable for the required freight
• Cargo barrier
• Full comprehensive insurance (for commercial use)
• Marine Cargo (Load / Freight / Goods in Transit) Insurance - $250k or above
• Current registration and roadworthy vehicle
• Appropriate equipment required to safely complete the delivery services (e.g. trolley)

Business & Insurance Requirements

Applicants must operate through a registered company or family trust and hold, or be able to obtain prior to commencement:

• ACN or Family Trust
• Public Liability insurance ($20 million)
• Workers' Compensation insurance where workers are employed
• Any other licences, registrations or insurances required to operate your business and perform the contracted services

Evidence of current insurance and business documentation will be required before commencement.
