Job summary

North West Queensland is seeking a motivated Casual Van Driver to join the Longreach pickup and delivery team. The role offers full-time hours and focuses on safe, reliable freight transport within Longreach and surrounding areas.

You will be trained and supported by our management team and peers in a structured, process-driven environment, with opportunities to upgrade licenses through our in-house Learning & Development team. Weekly payments and strong work/life balance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current Manual C Class License and Forklift License.
• Ability to pass a criminal history check, pre-employment medical, and drug and alcohol test.
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift and carry parcels up to 20kg.
• Full working rights in Australia (must be Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold valid work visa).

Responsibilities

• Transporting general freight with pick-ups and deliveries within the Longreach and Surrounding area.
• Manually load and unload parcels from the van.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks.
