Job summary

Boss Global Logistics in Queensland is seeking an experienced Owner Driver / Courier Contractor to service a weekday delivery run from our Caboolture depot, covering Caboolture, Beerwah, Glass House Mountains, Landsborough and surrounding areas.

Operate your own 2 tonne van with cargo barrier as an independent contractor. The run is typically about 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with stable daily freight and a supportive network of the company's employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Has previous courier, transport or multi-drop delivery experience.
• Knowledge of Caboolture, Beerwah, Glass House Mountains, Landsborough and surrounding areas is desired.
• Is reliable and able to provide consistent weekday services.
• Takes pride in customer service and professional presentation.
• Has strong communication and time-management skills.
• Maintains a safe, well-presented and reliable vehicle.
• Has a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and scanning freight prior to departure.
• Loading and unloading parcels from pallets and cages.
• Completing a high-volume, multi-stop delivery run.
• Delivering parcels generally ranging from 500g to 25kg+.
• Providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Completing deliveries safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Following site, customer and safety requirements while performing services.
