John Holland is delivering the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade (B2N) on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The OHW Supervisor will oversee installation, maintenance and commissioning of overhead wiring across this high-profile rail project at Beerburrum.

You will lead field delivery teams, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule and to project standards, within a live rail environment.

Formación

• Experience supervising OHW construction and maintenance within a rail environment.
• Strong knowledge of Overhead Wiring systems, standards, and rail infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead frontline crews and subcontractors in high-risk settings.
• Solid understanding of rail possessions, isolations, permits, and safe working requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant rail competencies and safety qualifications, with a strong commitment to Zero Harm.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate the installation, modification, maintenance, and commissioning of OHW systems.
• Lead frontline crews and subcontractors to deliver works safely and efficiently.
• Plan and manage daily work activities, including labour, plant, materials and rail access.
• Ensure compliance with rail standards, electrical safety, procedures and quality specs.
• Coordinate rail possessions, isolations and permit requirements; manage interfaces.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality; identify and resolve site issues and risks.
• Maintain a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, inspections and procedures.
