Job summary

John Holland is seeking an experienced Overhead Wiring Supervisor to join the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project Team. The role starts January 2027 and is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Superintendent.

Key responsibilities include coordinating multiple teams and subcontractors, leading safety programs, developing short-term schedules, and maintaining strong stakeholder communications. A focus on design review, risk mitigation, and quality documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant Qualifications and training such as Cert III ESI Rail Traction and MEL53.
• Experience leading multiple teams and subcontractors in rail/overhead wiring.
• Strong safety mindset with proven risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams & subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
• Provide leadership in health, safety, and environment management.
• Develop short term construction plans and daily/weekly production scheduling.
• Manage stakeholders through professional communication and reporting to the Superintendent.
• Review plans and drawings, implement final designs, and apply subcontractor contracts.
