Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking a safe and experienced Gantry Crane Operator for a 4 week assignment in Peakhurst, Sydney, NSW. You will operate overhead cranes to move steel and sheet metal coils while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have proven crane experience in steel/industrial environments; forklift licence or gantry crane ticket is preferred, and you can start ASAP for stable hours and potential long-term work.

Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead/gantry cranes in a steel or industrial environment.
• Forklift licence and/or gantry crane ticket preferred.
• Good understanding of load limits and safe rigging practices.
• Available to start asap.
• Strong focus on safety and quality in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position steel and sheet metal coils.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials.
• Input job orders into machines.
• Follow strict safety and quality standards in the workplace.
