Job summary

TeamKids is hiring permanent Educators in Woombye to support before and after school care programs. You will work with a close-knit team to create engaging activities for children aged 5–12 and contribute to a safe, fun learning environment.

The role offers afternoon shifts (2:30pm–5:30pm, Monday to Thursday) and 12 total hours per week. Previous OSHC experience is welcome but not essential; training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before/After School Care or education is ideal but not required.
• Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
• Confident communication with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support OSHC program activities and daily routines.
• Engage children aged 5–12 in learning through play and excursions.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver safe, fun and engaging activities.

The Role - Permanent Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Woombye

Shifts Available

2:30pm - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday

Total weekly hours: 12

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive

• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
