Job summary

TeamKids in Morayfield is hiring a Casual Educator to join our OSHC team. This role offers variety with mornings before school, afternoons after school, and holiday shifts, providing hands-on learning and caring support for children aged 5–12.

You’ll work with a supportive team, gain valuable OSHC experience, and have access to development opportunities, including training through Geccko and flexible options for students.

Responsibilities

• Location: Morayfield
• Shifts available between: 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care), 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care), and optional extended school holiday shifts.

The Role - Casual Educator

Location: Morayfield

Shifts available between:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working with children, whether in an education or sporting field.
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Ideally has an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications (Includes education, sports and recreation, allied health and more)
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
