Job summary

TeamKids is looking for a Casual Educator to join our OSHC program in NSW South, including Miranda and surrounding suburbs. You will work closely with a supportive team, engaging children before and after school and during holidays, with opportunities to grow in the OSHC space.

Nothing beats making a real difference in children's lives while enjoying flexible shifts. Prior OSHC or education experience is welcome, and we provide guidance to grow your skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Ideally has previous experience in Before and After School Care or education, but not essential.
• Passionate about working with children and seeing them thrive.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.
• Working with Children Check relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue card, VIT) if applicable.
• Preferably pursuing ACECQA approved qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Before and After School Care duties and activities.
• Engage children through excursions, incursions, themed days and hands-on learning.
• Be a collaborative team member supporting program delivery and safety.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Miranda & Surrounding suburbs

Shifts available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
