Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Casual Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care team in Beverly Hills. You will work closely with a supportive team to run before/after school care and holiday programs, delivering engaging activities for children aged 5–12.

Shifts include morning and afternoon blocks with additional holiday sessions. The role offers development opportunities and flexible options for students while prioritizing child safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Prior OSHC or education experience preferred.
• WWCC/Blue card/ VIT as required by state.
• Certificate III or Diploma (or in progress) in ACECQA approved course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage children before and after school care.
• Assist with activities, excursions and themed days.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and joyful environment for ages 5–12.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Beverly Hills

Shifts available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
