Job summary

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is seeking an Outpatient Services Administration Supervisor in Adelaide. You will lead a designated administrative team within Outpatient Support Services, online rostering and professional development while ensuring processes align with policies.

The role requires strong communication, change management and a patient-centred approach. The position focuses on supervising staff, improving workflows, and promoting a collaborative, safe, high-quality

Qualifications

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with staff, clinicians, patients and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills, including coordinating administrative staff, managing change and improving work practices.
• Experience using Sunrise EMR and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support administrative staff, including rostering, performance development and opportunities for professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with outpatient administration procedures and workflows; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, customer-focused environment prioritising safe, high-quality, person- and family-centred care.
• Support implementation of service initiatives and change; contribute to ongoing development of Outpatient Support Services.
