Job summary

South Gippsland Shire in Victoria, Leongatha is seeking a capable Labourer to assist in the development and maintenance of roads, bridges, drains, culverts, storm water and footpaths across South Gippsland.

You will be physically fit for labouring work, have experience in a similar role and be able to operate plant and equipment such as chainsaws, loaders, backhoes and excavators, with a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and time management required.
• Experience in a similar labouring role.
• Current driver’s licence essential.
• Safe operation of plant and equipment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of roads infrastructure, bridges, drains, major culverts, storm water and footpaths across South Gippsland.
