Job summary

Service Stream is hiring a Meter Reader for the Riverland - Renmark area. The role involves walking a defined neighbourhood to read meters, with training and PPE provided. It is a part-time position offering flexible hours and an active outdoor environment.

No prior experience is required; we will teach you everything you need to know. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential for daily travel.

Qualifications

• Current valid drivers licence.
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting.
• Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to 45 minutes each way.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from handheld device.
