Job summary

Service Stream is seeking Meter Readers in the Adelaide and Metropolitan region to walk and record utility meter readings. No experience is required and an immediate start is available. You will work outdoors, read meters accurately, and support health and wellbeing while keeping to safety standards.

We provide uniform, PPE, on-the-job training, and access to StreamLife, our employee benefits program. Travel may be required, with schedules varying by availability.

Qualifications

• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own.
• Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting.
• Able to work in most weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Ability to work independently but also work with other members of the team.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from hand-held device.
