Job summary

Wannon Water seeks an OT Technical Coordinator to safeguard the reliability and security of its OT environment, focusing on SCADA systems. Based in Warrnambool, the role coordinates across operations, maintenance, vendors, and stakeholders to plan, upgrade and support OT infrastructure.

You’ll develop technical documentation, govern change, and support cybersecurity and risk management initiatives while delivering resilient systems for the future of water services.

Qualifications

• Automation/industrial control and management experience.
• OT/SCADA, industrial automation, utilities or infrastructure exposure.
• Knowledge of PLC, RTU and telemetry SCADA platforms; programming in Allen-Bradley and Schneider products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation, support and maintenance of OT SCADA systems and infrastructure.
• Lead OT maintenance, outages, upgrades and system changes with risk assessment and documentation.
• Develop and maintain OT technical documentation, standards and records, including cybersecurity and governance.
• Support OT projects, infrastructure upgrades and technical changes, including planning, testing and handover.
