Job summary

APA Group invites applications for an OT Engineer to join our Operational Technology team. This role delivers and supports critical industrial technology solutions across APA’s gas and operational assets, spanning SCADA, control systems, PLCs, RTUs, Historian platforms and OT networks.

You will design, implement and verify OT systems, participate in commissioning and handover, and collaborate with project managers, operations and vendors while applying cybersecurity and best-practice engineering

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to OT/industrial control systems environments.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, Historian systems and OT networks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and engineering deliverables.
• Willingness to travel to operational sites for commissioning and support activities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of OT engineering projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Develop technical designs, specifications, system configurations and engineering documentation.
• Configure, test and integrate SCADA, PLC, RTU, Historian and control systems.
• Assist with site commissioning, testing and operational readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot OT system issues and support operational improvements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, Asset Engineering and specialist vendors.
• Apply OT engineering standards, cybersecurity principles and best practice methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across OT systems and engineering processes.
