Job summary

Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Adelaide invites applications for a permanent OSHC Director. You will lead the Outside School Hours Care program, ensuring safety, wellbeing and development of children in before- and after-school care.

You will inspire creativity, foster positive relationships with children, families and staff, and drive high-quality programs aligned with the School Age Care Framework while managing budgets, rosters and compliance with NQS and WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification approved by ACECQA (NQF).
• RRHAN-EC certificate.
• First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Experience in OSHC or similar programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day operations of the OSHC program.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate high quality programs aligned with the School Age Care Framework.
• Lead, support, and mentor a team of educators.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (NQS, WHS and other regulatory requirements).
• Develop and implement engaging programs for children.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Manage administrative duties, including budgeting, staff rosters and record keeping.

We are seeking a dynamic, child-centered, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as theOSHC Directorat Our Lady Queen of Peace. As the OSHC Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Outside School Hours Care program, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in both before- and after-school care. You will inspire creativity, provide exceptional care, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day to day operations of the OSHC program
• Develop, implement, and evaluation of high quality programs aligned with School Age Care Framework.
• Lead, support, and mentor a team of educators
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (NQS, WHS and other regulatory requirements)

• Experience in managing OSHC or similar programs (preferred) including program planning, multitasking and catering for a range of needs

• Approved Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
• First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012Provide first aid in an education and care setting
