Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is seeking an experienced OSHC Assistant Coordinator to lead our out-of-school-hours care services across Burdell, Mundingburra and Rasmussen. You will support daily operations, mentor educators, and deliver engaging, child-centered programs that promote safety, inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) or equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a high-quality OSHC service.
• Lead child-centred programs that inspire creativity, curiosity and wellbeing.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Mentor educators to deliver exceptional care and educational experiences.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Assist with compliance, programming and continuous improvement to ensure the service meets regulatory and quality standards.
