Job summary

School Plus is seeking a dedicated Service Leader to run the 45-place OSHC service at St Kieran's Primary School, Moe. This fixed-term role, through to 30 May 2027, offers leadership opportunities and the chance to influence children's learning, play, growth and belonging in a close-knit community.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor educators, and develop engaging play-based programs while ensuring safety, compliance and strong relationships with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or recognised equivalent.
• Experience in OSHC, childcare, education or a leadership role.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the OSHC service, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community.
• Support, mentor and inspire a team of educators.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children thrive.
• Plan and oversee engaging play-based programs that encourage learning, creativity and fun.
• Manage rosters, administration and service documentation.
• Drive positive outcomes through strong leadership, organisation and communication.
• Champion child safety and wellbeing in all aspects of service delivery.
