Job summary

Camp Australia in Narangba is seeking a dedicated childcare professional to lead a passionate team. You will design engaging, safe programs for primary-aged children, plan exciting daily activities, and prepare healthy snacks while building strong relationships with families and the local school community.

Ideal candidates will hold a Blue Card and relevant certificates, with a Diploma in childcare in progress or completed. Availability mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Blue Card or be willing to obtain one.
• Completion or progress toward a childcare-related Diploma.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or 50% working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
