Job summary

Camp Australia in Red Hill, ACT is seeking an enthusiastic childcare educator to join our team. You will design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children, plan daily activities, and prepare healthy snacks while building strong relationships with children, families and the local school community.

This role offers a permanent contract, flexible split shifts, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in childcare (completed or in progress).
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 7:30 am – 9:30 am and 2:40 pm – 6:00 pm, Mon to Fri.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

At our service in Red hill! you’ll lead a passionate team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, have fun, and flourish.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 7:30 am - 9:30 am and 2:40 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
