Diocese of Lismore is recruiting for Responsible Persons (Educators) to support OSHC services at St Ambrose Primary School, Pottsville and Mt St Patrick Primary School, Murwillumbah. Roles are casual with an hourly rate of $48.66 when undertaking Responsible Person duties, plus superannuation.

Shifts are varied, offering flexibility for family and study commitments, and a supportive work environment. Eligible staff may access child-care options for their own children on shift, subject to a small

Qualifications

• Experience and/or qualifications in childcare or education.
• Professional presentation and excellent punctuality.
• Sound knowledge of child safeguarding principles and mandatory reporting obligations.
• Ability to engage in a positive and friendly manner with children and families.
• Available for a range of shifts over a Monday to Friday roster (no weekends or public holidays).

Responsabilités

• Before and after school care, plus school holiday programs.
• Organise and supervise children in various recreational and educational activities.
• Take an active role in supporting positive behaviours and self-regulation.
• Apply policies, procedures or similar related to childcare environment.
• Build relationships with the children and families and positively represent the service.
