Job summary

St Nicholas OOSH, part of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, seeks a qualified OOSH Assistant / Educator and Responsible Person for Kilaben Bay. The role covers before/after school and vacation care for children aged 5–12,/permanent part-time. You’ll be an active team member delivering high-quality care.

Qualification requisites include a Cert III/IV in relevant fields, WWCC, and current First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma training (desirable).

Qualifications

• Experience in an OOSH service.
• Computer literacy to document learning stories.
• Certificate III/IV as required or studying towards relevant qualification.
• WWCC verification and current First Aid/Asthma/Anaphylaxis training (desirable).
• Food handling training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be an active team member delivering high-quality childhood education and care.
• Work across before/after school and vacation care programs for ages 5–12.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
