Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHC Permanent Educator in the Baldivis area to support engaging before and after school programs for primary school children. You will build meaningful relationships with children, families, your team and the school community, with opportunities to support nearby services.

This is a permanent part-time role offering 20 hours per week during the school term, with a split shift pattern: 2:30pm–5:30pm and 6:45am–8:45am, with extra hours during the School

Qualifications

• ACECQA-recognised qualification required for WA.
• WA First Qualified Educator qualification is preferred.
• National police check required (paid by JAG).
• State Working-with-Children check required.
• National Child Safety Training completed prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

Job Description

As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work in theBaldivis area, where you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with children, families, your team, and the wider school community. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of engaging before and after school care programs for primary school-aged children. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

This is a permanent part-time role offering 20 hours per week during the school term, with a consistent split across morning and afternoon shifts:

• Monday to Thursday - Stay and Play: 2:30pm-5:30pm
• Tuesday to Friday - Rise then Shine: 6:45am-8:45am

Additional hours may also be available during our School Holiday Program, which operates between 6:30am and 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check.

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a completed relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification, including:

• WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WAin accordance with ACECQA
