Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHC Qualified Educator in the Australind area to support before and after school care for primary-aged children. The role involves building relationships with children, families, and the school community.

Shifts are 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time with extra hours possible during school holidays. This is a part-time position offering a split-shift schedule and opportunities for growth within JAG.

Qualifications

• Hold or be actively working towards ACECQA-recognised qualification such as WA First Qualified Educator or WA Qualified Educator.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children.
• Be a team player with aspirations to grow in the role.

• Part-time

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children’s development through play in fun, engaging environments. As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work in theAustralind area, where you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with children, families, your team, and the wider school community. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of engaging before and after school care programs for primary school-aged children. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts and hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across after school care shifts during term time. Extra hours available during school holidays too!

Stay and Play: Term-time afternoon shifts from 2:30pm - 4:30pm
School Holiday Program: Additional shifts may be available during school holidays, within program operating hours of 6:30am-6:00pm

• WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WAin accordance with ACECQA
• WA Qualified Educator - Working towards or have completed a relevant qualification to work as a Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
