Job summary

Helping Hands Maroochydore is seeking university students, teacher's aides or school officers to join the Holiday HQ OSHC team. The role is designed to fit around your timetable and commitments.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with primary school children during school holidays, with block shifts, competitive pay ($37-$47 per hour) plus super, and pathways to leadership within JAG.

We welcome diverse backgrounds and provide a supportive team environment and onboarding.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
