Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd is seeking a compassionate, organised coordinator for the OSHC service in Mascot NSW. The role is permanent part-time, 28 hours per week, with morning and afternoon shifts during term time.

You will work within a supportive team to provide safe, inclusive care, design engaging programs, support families, and maintain strong links with the school community. Desirable qualifications include ECE/Care study, OSHC experience, First Aid, WWCC, and GECCKO

Qualifications

• Desirable hold a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards.
• Desirable previous OSHC experience.
• Desirable certificate of training in Child Protection.
• Full first-aid certificate.
• Hold an NSW Working with Children check.
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO.

Responsibilities

• Be one of the responsible persons for the service
• Provide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environment
• Support the children's attendance and casual bookings schedules to ensure child safety and supervision
• Support the design and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals
• Create opportunities to share children's participation and engagement in programs with families
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community

The Role

With a genuine passion for childcare, you will be compassionate, and friendly and possess the ability to interact with children positively and productively.

Permanent Part-time, 28 hours/week, 2 hours morning Mon - Thurs, 4 hours afternoon Mon - Fri. Term time only. Vacation care available.

Your main responsibilities will be:

About you

To be successful, you will have:

• (Desirable) Hold aqualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards
• (Desirable) Previous work experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
• (Desirable) Hold a certificate of training in Child Protection
• Full first-aid certificate
• Hold an NSW Working with Children check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO
