Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring for an OSHC team member at Mango Hill Helping Hands in Brisbane. The role is designed to fit university schedules, parenting duties, or flexible study plans, with morning and afternoon splits that total a minimum of 10 hours weekly.

Earn $27–$38 per hour plus super, with extra pay for split shifts and opportunities for development within the organization. Parental leave and other benefits are highlighted along with a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant educator qualification.
• National police check and state working-with-children check required or to be obtained.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
• National Child Safety Training may be required prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in OSHC programs and create engaging experiences for primary school children.
• Work around university timetables and commitments to provide flexible shifts.
• Support a safe, welcoming team environment while following safeguarding principles.

Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)

Who are we looking for?

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
