Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring for an OSHC program role at Chapel Hill Helping Hands in Brisbane. The position offers split shifts (6:30am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm) with guaranteed minimum hours (10 per week), designed to fit around student timetables and family commitments.

Guaranteed minimum hours: 10 hoursper week

• Morning Shift: 6:30am – 9:00am Monday - Friday (Rise then Shine Program)
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
