Job summary

The YMCA Brisbane is recruiting energetic Educators to join the Ashgrove Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You'll supervise and support children before school, after school and during school holidays, creating a safe, inclusive environment that fosters wellbeing and creativity.

We value fun, energy and a commitment to safety, with opportunities for training and professional development in a not-for-profit setting that supports communities across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be studying towards Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
• A paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities
• Create an inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play
