Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is looking for energetic Educators to join our Marsden Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive space for primary-aged children before and after school and during school holidays.

Contribute to children’s wellbeing, confidence and social learning through play, with opportunities for career coaching and professional development within a not-for-profit community focus.

Qualifications

• Hold or currently studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Bring energy, creativity and a sense of fun to engaging children.
• Demonstrate responsibility to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming space where children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.
