Job summary

YMCA Palmview Outside School Hours Care is seeking energetic Educators to join our team on a casual basis. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during holidays.

You'll supervise and engage children in sessions, run hands-on activities during Vacation Care, and promote wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play. Hold or study towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, with First Aid/CPR and Blue

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity.
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with a variety of hands‑on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.
• Promote children's wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.
