Job summary

Ipswich Grammar School is seeking an Outside of School Hours Care Educator to join our Junior School team. The role provides care before/after school and during vacation periods for Prep to Year 6, focusing on engaging programs and child safety.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Certificate III in OSHC or a related field, be studying early childhood education, and hold or be eligible for a Blue Card. This permanent part-time or casual position reports to the Coordinator and supports the school

Qualifications

• Experience in an OSHC/Vacation Care setting or interest in working with school-aged children
• Demonstrated ability to build warm, professional relationships with children, families and staff
• Knowledge of OSHC regulations, national laws and reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care for Prep to Year 6 before/after school and during school holidays
• Implement engaging, educational programs to support children's development and wellbeing
• Ensure children's safety and wellbeing in a supportive environment
• Assist with Responsible Person duties where eligible
