Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is hiring OSHC Educators for before/after school and vacation care in Queensland. We welcome Diploma-qualified educators who can assume Responsible Person duties and experienced staff with a Certificate III.

The role supports engaging, inclusive activities and a balance between work and life in a collaborative team. Applicants should hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA equivalent), a current Blue Card, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of National Child Training (via Geckko).
• Play-based approach to education for school-aged children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing nurturing care and meaningful interactions for children.
• Creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
• Planning and delivering fun recreational and educational experiences.
• Supporting children's wellbeing, development and confidence.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contributing to vacation care programs and excursions.
• Stepping into the Responsible Person role when required (Diploma qualified educators).
