Job summary

TeamKids Morayfield is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) to lead before- and after-school care across our Morayfield service. This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry, with support from a Director of Service to help you thrive in your role.

You'll engage with the school community, develop enriching experiences for primary-aged children, ensure program compliance with industry regulations, and build genuine relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous experience in Before/After School Care or education; training provided.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, playful attitude.
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and enjoys having FUN.
• Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Morayfield

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday

• Before school care: 6:00 - 8:55am
• After school care: 2:10 - 6:30pm
• Total hours: 36.25
