Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) invites applications for an OSHC Casual Educator on the NSW Central Coast. The role supports children's development through play in our OSHC programs, joining morning and afternoon shifts across Gosford, Point Clare and Wyoming locations.

Qualifications

  • Genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (covered by JAG) and a state Working with Children check.
  • Must have valid Australian work rights.
  • Relevant qualification in children's services, or be in the process of completing one (ACECQA guidelines).

Responsibilities

  • Support children's development through play in OSHC programs.
  • Be part of morning and afternoon shift programs.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver Rise and Shine and Stay and Play activities.
  • Complete recruitment steps including a quick chat-based interview and background checks.

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Join our OSHC team acrossour NSW Central Coast OSHClub Services and help create exciting, engaging, and unforgettable experiences for primary school children. Must be willing to travel to Gosford, Point Clare andWyoming.

Pick up shifts across the services open hours:

Morning Shift: 6:00am - 9:00am Monday - Friday (Rise then Shine Program)

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)

In our OSHC programs, kids are busy building rockets, scoring goals, creating masterpieces, and making new friends. As an OSHC Educator you get the opportunity to be involved.
