Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHC Casual Educator to work mainly at Woollahra Helping Hands, building lasting relationships with families and children while supporting the school community. You’ll join a team in a people-first culture with potential to support nearby services in the region.

Shifts include before/after school, with extra hours in school holidays; minimum 3 afternoons per week.

Job Description

As an OSHC Casual Educator, you’ll work primarily at Woollahra Helping Hands, giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts: work regular shifts Monday through Friday before school shifts and after schoolshifts. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 3 afternoons per week.

Qualifications

• A genuine passionfor working with children.
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
