Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an OSHC casual educator to work at Googong OSHClub, building relationships with families, children, and the school community.

You'll cover regular before- and after-school shifts, with extra hours in school holidays. This role offers flexible split shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth within a values-driven, people-first organisation.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!).
• State working-with-children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
• ACTFirst Qualified Educator - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator Educator in ACT in accordance with ACECQA
• ACT Second and subsequent Qualified Educator - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator Educator in ACT in accordance with ACECQA

Responsibilities

Job Description

As an OSHC Casual Educator, you’ll work primarily atGoogong OSHClub, giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts: work regular shifts Monday through Friday before schoolshifts and after schoolshifts. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 3 afternoons per week.
