Job summary

Camp Australia in Sydney's Ropes Crossing service is seeking an enthusiastic ECEC worker to design and maintain safe, engaging programs for primary-aged children. You will plan daily activities and prepare healthy snacks, building meaningful relationships with children, families and the local school community.

Availability is from 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (approx 27.5 hours per week in school term).

Qualifications

• Diploma in childcare or working towards is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and engaging approach to caring for children.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. (Approx 27.5 hours per week in School term)
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
