Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to lead a safe, engaging OSHC service for children in a collaborative team. This permanent part-time role supports families and schools, with a focus on wellbeing and program quality.

The position offers an above‑award salary with allowances and super, plus ongoing professional development and a supportive work culture in a Catholic education setting.

Qualifications

• A qualification (or be working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Previous OSHC experience is preferred.
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• Mandatory GECCKO child safety training must be completed.
• A child protection training certificate is required.
• A current First Aid Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for staff and children.
• Manage children's attendance and bookings for supervision and safety.
• Assist in designing and delivering engaging educational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children's experiences and achievements with families.
