Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Springfield Lakes OSHC service. You will support day-to-day operations, assist the Coordinator, and help run Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs for primary school children.

LOCATED within a purpose-built centre, the role emphasises safety, inclusive practice and staff leadership, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place is preferred.
• Experience caring for OSHC children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Coordinator with day-to-day OSHC operations.
• Plan, implement and document programs for children.
• Roster staff, supervise team and support colleagues.
• Handle administrative tasks including fee collection when needed.
• Foster a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for children and families.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve positive outcomes.
